Questions, answered properly.

Including the ones where the answer is no.

What it measures

What does the score actually represent?

How findable and credible the business is, as one number out of a thousand, weighted across six components: search visibility, local presence, reputation, website health, authority and presence in AI assistants. The weights are stored as configuration, not written into the code, so they can be tuned per industry without a release.

Why is my score not showing?

Because less than 40% of the score weight has been measured. The number exists internally and is deliberately not published, since a score built from a fraction of the inputs is precision the data cannot support. The report shows what was measured and names every component that is missing.

Do you track whether ChatGPT recommends my business?

Yes, by running a fixed set of questions against assistant APIs on a schedule and recording whether you were named and which sources were cited. It is reported as a mention rate over a stated number of runs, never as a rank, because these systems publish no ranking and inventing one would be fabrication. The cited sources are usually the more useful output: if an assistant keeps citing a directory instead of your site, that is something you can act on.

What it needs from you

What do you need access to?

For the full picture: Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Analytics, plus a review source. Access is read-only by default, granted through the provider's own consent screen wherever one exists, and revocable by you at any time without involving us.

Where are my credentials kept?

Encrypted before they reach the database, with a key that is not stored in that database, so a stolen copy of the data is unreadable. Each secret is cryptographically bound to your account and its own row, so a record copied into another tenant fails to decrypt rather than opening. Every time a credential is read, an append-only audit entry is written that the application itself cannot alter or delete.

Can I see what you did on my behalf?

Yes. Every executed action records who approved it, what was sent, what the provider replied, confirmation that the change actually published, and a token holding the previous value so it can be undone.

What it will not do

Will you ask my customers for reviews?

On platforms that allow it, and never selectively. The system does not filter who gets asked based on how happy they seem, and on platforms that prohibit solicitation it does not ask at all. On Yelp specifically the capability is not implemented, rather than implemented and switched off.

Will you change my website automatically?

Only within limits you set, and never for anything that costs money or carries real search risk. Changing ad spend, editing robots rules, altering canonical tags and changing URLs are permanently manual at every level of trust, and an account-level override cannot unlock them.

Do you build backlinks?

Not through a network or an exchange. Those are link schemes under Google's own spam policies and the penalty lands on your domain, not ours. The system finds genuine opportunities, including manufacturer and trade directories you are already entitled to be in, and a person does the outreach.

Will you generate photos of work we did not do?

No. A generated image of a job that never happened, published as yours, is fabricated evidence, and it is the exact thing this product exists to avoid. Real photographs from real jobs make better content anyway.

Practical

How long before anything changes?

Technical and listing fixes show up in weeks. Content and authority take a quarter or more. The first report arrives within days and will tell you things about your own listings you did not know, which is usually the part that earns the next conversation.

Do you host my website?

Not yet. That is the second half of the product and it is in build. The measurement half is live and stands on its own.

What does it cost?

Pricing is not set. The product is in beta with a first client and we would rather get that right than publish a number we will have to walk back.

Something not covered?

Ask. If the answer is that we do not do it yet, that is what you will be told.
